Life is breathing.
Breathing needs humidity.

KLAVAmed. Your experienced specialist for ultrasonic nebulising.

Effective humidification and inhalation prevents, eases and helps healing.

For numerous respiratory diseases humidification and/or inhalation is being used successfully.

Important fields of use amongst others are:

  • Asthma Bronchiale
  • Bronchitis
  • Bronchial catarrh
  • Mucoviscidosis
  • Pulmonary emphysema
  • Whooping cough
  • Pseudo croup
  • Tracheitis
  • Laryngitis
  • Sinusitis
  • Pneumonia
  • Allergies

Please note: like with any medical therapy, a consultation by a doctor is required in each individual case to check whether the treatment is recommended.

Ultrasonic nebulising vs. compressor nebulising

Ultrasonic nebulisers offer considerable advantages compared to compressor style nebulisers:

  • They work reliably even in continuous operation over many hours
  • They achieve very high humidification performances
  • Ultrasonic nebulisers are very quiet
  • Warm nebulising is possible

Ultrasonic nebulisers produce aerosol particles with a diameter of only 1 – 6 µm (1 µm = 1/1000 of a millimetre). These ultrafine particles take effect on the whole bronchial system and into the alveoli, which is beneficial and soothing for both diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract.

One important application is the humidification of breathable air. The mucous membrane is kept humid and the viscous deposits are dissolved.

Almost all water-soluble pharmaceuticals can be nebulised. In many cases ultrasonic nebulising has a greater effect than oral intake.

Note: pharmaceuticals are released to the bronchial system and not swallowed.
